Hide and Seek

Riley has developed a new routine for drop off. I've finally managed to get him to carry his backpack in, he puts on his inside shoes, and then we all go down to drop off Gavin. After Megan puts away Gavin's food, she and Riley tear off back down the hall to his classroom.

At this point, Riley hides from me. The thing is...he always hides in the same place, under a little table near the table he sits at. Sometimes I look around a bit, but eventually I drag him out and carry him bodily to the drop off area where he tries to grab me as I leave.

I'm not sure if he is really trying to hide or not, but either way it always cracks him up when I discover him. To his credit, he does cover his eyes, which does make it harder to find him.
