Riley has found a new steadiness in the past few days. He is not walking yet, but will very, very soon.
He likes to cruise around the furniture, and if you happen to be near a piece of furniture, he will use your body too. I can feel the difference between now and even a week ago. When he puts his hand on you, the touch is so light now. He doesn't need any help holding up his weight, just a little help staying steady.
Yesterday, Megan and I sat facing each other and tried to get Riley to walk between us. He would take the 2 steps to get to Megan, but would only crawl to me. We clapped for the walking and did nothing for the crawling. Since Riley is a boy how likes praise, hopefully this will provide the incentive he needs.
