Ovo

Maura and I got to go to the Cirque to Soliel show Ovo today. It was pretty spur of the moment - I found out over the weekend that they were giving out tickets to the show at work. Apparently the product team bought out the whole tent, and there was room to spare for other folks. I nabbed a couple and we wound up with some great seats, just three rows back from the stage.

The performance was very cool. Lots of acrobatics and gymnastics, some juggling, trampolining and a bunch of guys on the trapeze. We lucked out that our babysitter was free that night, but I think the kids (especially Megan) would have loved it.

I would have taken more pictures, but photography was expressly forbidden in the show. In fact, a woman in front of me tried to take a few surreptitious pictures at one point, but one of the ushers caught her, came down, and deleted them from her camera.
