Blocked

My mom and I took the kids out to run some errands this morning. As we were leaving the grocery store, the skies opened up and it began to pour rain. Given what people have told m.e about the weather in June, I think I was the only person excited to see the rain.

When we returned to the lake we were blocked from out road by a fallen tree.
I tried to move it out of the way, but it was absurd to think I could budge it. It stretched across both sides of the road.

Eventually, my mom off-roaded into the woods and drove the car through a narrow opening between some trees.

It was a very exciting way to end a not-so-exciting shopping trip.
