I can't believe that is is September already. Not one of the most original thoughts in the world, I'll admit.
At the beginning, August seemed to stretch out like an endless sea. Megan's camp was over and I had no idea how I was going to fill the days. But it actually went by pretty fast.
Now we are looking forward to school starting on the 10th. Megan can't wait for school to start. For the past couple weeks she was been assigning herself work to do, water work, cutting work, labeling work. Then she dragged her drink boxes out of the cupboard to use instead of cups. And there was the day that she put on her fall clothes because she was tired of summer and wanted to go back to school.
Since we are moving (probably in the beginng of November) she will only be at her school for a few weeks. And sadly, she will have a new teacher for these few weeks. Her old teacher ran away to Aruba. I kid you not.
We meet the new teacher next week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it all works out.
