Neti Pot

Riley caught a cold from the Child Watch room the Y and gave it to me.  And I feel about 7 different kinds of awful.  My head is aching and my sinuses are stuffed full of mucus.

I decided that now would be a good time to try a neti pot, since I can't take cold/sinus meds.  I've got to say that it is effective.  One side of my head is still pretty blocked up, but after I irrigate my sinuses, I get some relief.

Bryan is, of course, appalled.  I don't think he has ever fully recovered from the time that I procured ear candles and used them on him.  And for some reason, he gets no comfort from the fact that the NY Times just wrote an article about the neti pot phenomenon.   Or from the fact that I bought it from Walgreens, rather than an "alternative" shop.

So, I will assume that Bryan will not be after me to borrow the neti pot.  Which means that I only have to keep it away from Megan, who thinks it would be a perfect teapot for her dolls.
