Riley @ 15 months

We had Riley's 15 month visit today.

Riley weighed in at 22lbs 8 oz today. That is 3 oz less than he was at one year. I was a little surprised, given how much Riley eats (I feel as though I spend the bulk of the day feeding him), but not really surprised given how much he moves during the day. Dr. K was initially concerned, but I told her that Megan weight did the same dip when she started walking. It is something that we will watch, but not worry about.

Riley's length is 30 and 3/4 inches. That puts him in the 50% for height. His development is right on track. He has about 8 words (No, Go, More, Bye-Bye,All Done, Ball, Mama, Dada). I think he has more, but those were the ones I could think of at the appointment.

He had to get two shots and didn't even flinch when the needle when in. He is one tough kid. Oh, and Dr.K has given us the OK to let Riley have peanut butter. Since he has already helped himself to Megan's pb&j sandwiches 3 or 4 times and had no reaction, he is good to go.

Megan is not doing so well. She is still trying to kick the sinus infection she got that the end of September. We have a new antibiotic, Cleocin (Clindamycin), and more Nasonex. Hopefully that help her fight this off. She is such a sad sack right now, dark circles under her eyes and no energy. I look forward to a time when she doesn't get so sick.
