The kids had a fun easter. The morning started with Easter Baskets left by the fireplace.
I must say that the Easter Bunny did an excellent job picking out a wide variety of interesting candy (like a rope made out of marshmallow) and unusual toys (a chinese fan and a cool light-up bouncy ball).
We also colored eggs. We color raw eggs, since no one likes hard boiled eggs. We only lost two, which was not two bad. I made the mistake of starting the egg coloring after the kids got dressed up in their fancy clothes. Next year I need to remember to keep them in their PJs until that part is done.
By the way, Riley loved his fancy clothes. And he kept them very clean throughout the day.
Later we did an egg hunt in the back yard. Megan totally smoke Riley at finding eggs, but once she was satisfied at the number of eggs she had, she was very kind about helping her brother.
