Rabbit Party

I had the day off today, but Megan (and Riley) still had school.  I was orginally thinking that I would go see a movie with my kid-free time, but then I got an e-mail from Megan's.  Room 4 was going to have a Rabbit Party, and she needed some parents to help.Since it almost never works out for me to be at Megan's school, I jumped at the chance.

The party was a hit.  The kids all got pink noses and whiskers painted on and snacked on rabbit food (sunflower seeds, carrots, apples, strawberries, lettuce, etc).  Which they all loved.  The adults in the room were joking about how we would not have appreciated such a spread as kids. But we seem to be raising a generation of healthy eaters.

And I got a chance to chat with Megan's teacher and hear all about what a wonderful helper Megan is in the classroom.

It was a great day.
