DangerGavin

So, Maura was a little shocked when she saw I had taken this video. I argue that good cinema sometimes requires you take some risks. Like, for example, the risk that your child falls down a small flight of stairs.

That said, Gavin puts on a great show here. Look closely and you'll see one of the first times he stands on his own, and I think he totally would have figured out how to get down the stairs if he hadn't gotten distracted by that paper scrap he saw on the carpet.


I love how he looks up halfway through, as if to say "You're really going to let me do this, eh?"

Glad to see the father's hand did reach out to steady the wobbly Gavin. But I agree he would have done it. He already had figured out that he had to move his hand down to get is foot touching the stair. WOW!
