TYCTWD 2010

For the past couple of years I've taken Megan to Take Your Child to Work Day, and now that Riley is three he is old enough to go, too. Unfortunately, I couldn't take them both, because the area for elementary school kids was in a completely separate place than the one for preschoolers. Since Riley had never gone before, he won out.

The first order of business was second breakfast - Riley was quite pleased with his big pile of eggs. We then hung out in my cube for an hour or so, checking email and playing with magnets until the real activities began. In the preschool area we headed immediately to the bouncy house. We also hit the fishing area, did some art, saw a cool bubble magician and got some great fruits and vegetables at the farm stand.

After lunch Riley decided he wanted to wander through the building instead of go back outside. He must have had some sort of kid-radar because he managed to find a playground, of all things, on the second floor. I had to eventually drag him away from that, but by that point he was pretty exhausted anyway.
