Punk Rock Kids

A few weeks ago, at the Book Fair, Riley picked out a book called Crazy Hair Day. Crazy hair has been an interest of Riley's for a while now.

In the book, Stanley colors his hair blue and orange for Crazy Hair Day at his school (and there is a plot twist involving that that I won't reveal - you will have to read the book yourself) and Riley had been obsessed with coloring his own hair for school.

I agreed that he could do it for April Fools Day. And Megan got into the act as well. They wanted Gavin to have his hair colored too, but Gavs would have nothing to do with it. He crawled away so fast when he saw the spray color.

Megan and Riley look like they belong in a punk rock band. And Gavin has this look on his face as if to say, "Really, I'm related to those two?"

But if you look closely you'll also see Gavin is rebelling in his own way by wearing his Sunny Sunday shirt on a Thursday. Next thing you know he'll have a leather jacket and a motorcycle.
