Megan had her end of semester show for her gymnastics class at the Little Gym on Tuesday. It is amazing to me to see how far she has progressed this year.
The first section is her entrance. Then she does her beam routine, followed by tumbling, and finally the uneven bars. They have a little ribbon ceremony at the end and then because there was extra time, the kids got some extra time to do a piece of equipment again. Megan did the uneven bars because she got nervous during the show and didn't want to do the high bar.
Her new semester starts Monday and she has been invited to be in the advanced class for her age group. I'm curious to see how it goes. I'll miss her current teacher, Mr. Brad. He has such a knack for connecting with the kids and bringing out their best. But the two woman who will be teaching the new class are also wonderful. (Actually, I don't think there is a bad teacher in the bunch. The owners seem to hired carefully and well.)
Riley's show is today. Although I think is is more that families get to watch a regular class from inside the gym rather than a "show". We'll have to see. And hopefully I'll get the video up a little more quickly this time.
