Speed Racer

Just about every day after dropping Riley off at preschool, Megan races me back to the car. Usually she gets the jump on me, bolting as soon as the door is open. If she gets there first, she wins. If I get there first, she will generally declare ex post facto that (for that day) whoever wins, loses, and so she is in fact the winner anyway. The best I could seem to eek out was a tie, although recently she's also started claiming that she wins ties as well. Yesterday I told her that whoever won would have to drive the car to her school. She really didn't want to do that, so she let met win that day. We'll have to see what crafty rule change she thinks up next to reclaim her title.
