Last week Riley had his show at the Little Gym. Since he is only 2 and in a parent/child class the format is a little less structured than Megan's classes.
I've only been to a couple of classes, since Bryan generally takes him, but if recall correctly, the kids generally have a circle time with bells to ring, a warm up routine, learn a skill, have a longish free play time (where they can explore all of the equipment), some fun with balls, and a closing circle.
We weren't planning to start him with classes this year, but he was just so devastated when Megan got to go to gymnastics and he didn't that we caved. He seems to really like it. Just like his sister, the bars appear to be one of his favorite pieces of equipment. He likes to hang on them, and will even bear walk across the low parallel bars (I'm so upset that I wasn't able to catch him doing that with the camera. I need to get a new camera - one that has more space for video.)
So Riley's "show" was more like a regular class with extra time to play, since the kids weren't learning a skill. It was fun to watch. The video is above and here are some photos:
