Date Night

A couple of weeks ago, we got a notice from Riley's school that they would be hosting a Parents Night Out event to raise money for charity the teacher are supporting. Normally, I ignore notices for these types of events, since they usually require that children be at least 3 and toilet trained. But the school agreed to take all three kids for the evening, for not much more than a babysitter at the house would have cost.

So Bryan and I signed them up and planned an evening out. I let Bryan pick the movie; He chose District 9 (and will be losing his movie picking privileges for quite a while). But it was lovely to be out just the two of us. It was worth every penny and the slightly over tired children this morning.
