Gavin @ 4 months

I took Gavin to see Dr. K. this moring for his 4 month well baby visit. I can't believe that it has been 4 months already.

He weighted in at 15 lbs 14 oz with a diaper on.. That was a little lighter than I was expecting. I would have thought that he was over 16 lbs. He is 25" long. That put him in the 70% percentile for weight and the 53% for height.

Dr. K was quite impressed with Gavin's head control and charmed by his infectious smiling. She pronounced him healthy and developing well.

We chatted about Gavin and Megan and Riley for a few minutes. She think that my kids are great. And she said the nicest thing to me, she said that it was really obvious how much I enjoyed my children.

We capped off the visit with Gavin's first vaccinations. Because we skipped his two month visit, we missed the window for the Rotavirus vaccine. But I'm not too concerned about that one. Because winter is approaching, we decided on DTaP (for the pertussis protection) and Prevnar. Gavin took the shots like a champ.
