Flovent For Riley

I took Riley to the doctor today. I wanted to get his ear checked. There had been fluid in it last month when he went in to see the audiologist and I didn't want to take him in again if he was going to fail the test.

And I was worried about his breathing. Jeff thought he heard wheezing (after Riley had been running around) when we saw him last weekend. And Riley had already had two colds since going back to school where he needed albuterol.

So Dr. K. and I agreed to put him back on Flovent for the winter. With all the flu concerns, it made us both feel better for him to a little extra help against an attack.

And as a bonus Riley got his seasonal flu shot. Seasonal flu shots are in very short supply in our area (and the H1N1 hasn't arrived in the state yet), but the office had just received a small allotment for the high risk kids. Riley took it like a champ. He is legendary in that office for how well he does with shots.
