An IEP for Rlley

Today was Riley's IEP meeting for his speech issues. As expected, while he does have articulations issues, they are not severe enough to qualify for services. Mrs. W-W strongly suspects that he will outgrow them.

But we have been instructed to monitor his progress and contact the school district next summer if he isn't improved. Mrs. W-W suggested that we make some movies of Riley speaking so we have something to compare against. I'm going to try to do that this weekend.

I do think that she was a little disappointed that Riley didn't need services. She was raving about how delightful he was during the meeting. I wish we got to see more of that side of him at home
