After our recent room reorganization, Riley wound up with a functional lightswitch in his room, because the floor lamp now lives on the side of the room that had the switched receptacle. Seeing that Riley had joined the 20th century, Megan became keen on getting her switch working as well, so our goal was to find her hanging lamp.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised. After a quick electrical consult with Grandpa, the fanciest lamp in the house is now hanging above Megan's bed.
