Riley is healthy and developing well. Dr. K was impressed when I told her how well Riley was talking, and really wanted to hear some for herself, but Riley was mute for most of the visit.
He drew a circle to show his developing motor skills, but refused to draw a line. Thanks to all of the practice he has had blowing out birthday candles, he did an excellent job breathing so the doctor could listen to his lungs.
We also talked about getting caught up on his vaccinations. He is a little behind. There are some I delayed (MMR and Chickenpox) and others he missed because due to illness or moving. Since I didn't want to give him 5 at the same time, we just did Polio and Prevnar today. We'll finish up the rest in the next few months.
Riley was amazing during his shots. He didn't even flinch. And these were some serious looking needles. I wish Megan were so stoic.
