A Beach That is Just Right

Beach-wise, Megan has been a bit like Goldilocks.  One beach was too weedy, the other too wavy. The water, in general, has been too salty.  Every single day, she refused to go to the beach unless it had no waves and less salty water. Because we are kind and considerate parents, we made her go anyway.  As much as we love her, there just isn't a way to still and desalinate the ocean.

Finally, on our last day, we managed to find a beach that she liked, altough it was so rocky you needed to wear shoes to get to the water.  We actually had Megan and Riley in the ocean for 10 or 15 minutes!  But they had a blast on the beach.  I think I will be finding sand in unexpected places for days to come.
