A Day at the Lake

Some of my Trout cousins came to the lake today - it was something straight out of my childhood, and I'm glad that my children can experience it too. When I was little, my siblings and I would be so excited for the days that they came. And we waited all morning for the sound of their car coming down the hill. I was remembering that feeling this morning as we were waiting for then to arrive. I can't believe that after 30+ years I can still be snookered into thinking that Trouts will arrive when they say they will.

I got to visit with my cousin Nancy and her daughters, my little cousins-one of whom is now taller than me. And Megan and Riley got to spend time with my cousin Susan's kids. It was fun to watch them play together.  I spend my summers playing with my cousins like this.
