There would have been more, but she filled up the memory card and ran down the battery.
It was a long, fun day. Bryan was a machine, tidying up the outdoors, fixing door knobs and noisy bathroom fans, straightening up the playroom, and more. I spend most of the morning baking and prepping food. Oh, and cleaning too. Our house is so clean right now. And if we can keep the kids in check, it will remain clean until after we return from our trip.
I wish there pictures to show you, but we were too busy having fun to take pictures. We should have just given the camera to Megan. My friend Shannon did get a great picture of Megan, with lips so blacken from chocolate cake that she looked like a goth. She promised to send it to me, so I'll have to post it at a later date.
We still have a ton of food left. I need to figure out how to deal with it since we'll be leaving in a few days and won't be able to eat all of it As it it is, we may need to mandate a chocolate cake or lemon tart chaser to every meal for man, woman and child(ren).
It is nice to realize that we have so many friend here. It is something that I missed when we were living in NY.
