It took Megan to see the dermatologist today to get some moles checked. I discovered some rather large ones on her scalp a few months ago that had be concerned. And given her family history, I wanted them check out.
The good news is that the dermatologist wasn't very concerned. Apparently an aunt with skin cancer isn't statistically meaningful for my kids. Bryan, on the other hand, should take his skin issues seriously. Thankful, my
nagging enthusiastic encouragement in this area has been effective. He got a suspicious mole removed last month.
We were told apply sunscreen everyday and we'll go back next year to for a recheck.
