Wednesday Roundup

This morning we met up with a friend at the bouncy place, the little kids side this time. It was much better. The play structures were scaled down and Riley had a much easier time using them. And Megan still had a blast. I had hoped to get more pictures this time, but they would stay still enough to capture an image. I did shoot these few seconds of video:


After we got home, Riley went down for a nap and I set about distracting Megan so I could finish applying for the job. After having her wash the table and floor do an art project, and watch a short show, I handed over my camera to get the ten final minutes I needed to finish the cover letter. It did the trick. I got the final ten minutes I needed to finished writing and send the material off. Now I just have to wait. I'll confess that my heart lept every time I heard a new e-mail message come through, but realisitically I don't expect to hear anything until next week.

Now that the resume is off my list, I feel such a relief. I still need to spend time reworking it. My 2+ year gap is rather obvious in its current format. But I glad that I didn't let the perfect get in the way of the good enough.
