No Tooth Fairy Tonight

Megan lost her second tooth this evening.

We are actually shocked that it has taken this long, since it has been hanging onto her gums by the merest thread for days. When her friend Allison, currently wiggling her 8th wobbly tooth, saw Megan's dangling tooth this afternoon, she asked, "Why is that tooth still in your mouth?" But where Allison works her loose teeth every waking hour (her teeth average about 5 days from first wiggle to out of her mouth), Megan babies her loose teeth, requesting squishy food and asking that we brush her teeth softly.

But tonight, the tooth finally came out after Megan went to bed. But the tooth fairy will not be visiting tonight.

Megan, rather that break the rule of no getting out of bed at night, chose to put her tooth on her lite-brite. Apparently she want to see if it would glow. And it just fell through the holes and is rattleing around in the case. If Bryan can get the tooth out of the lite-brite, the tooth fairy will be able to visit tomorrow night.
