Art Work

A couple months ago I put away our art supplies (crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc).  I felt bad about doing it, but Riley had marked a wall or a floor (or both) in almost every room.  And I could not get Megan to understand how careful she needed to be about leaving the markers/crayons/pencils out when Riley was around. I've had them use chalk outside instead.

But I brought them down this morning and Megan has been enjoying drawing pictures pretty much all morning.  Riley enjoyed coloring too, on paper, the stairs, the floor, and his pants. 

I went through our motley assortment coloring items and pulled out all of the ones not labeled "washable."  Our crayon collection took quite a hit.  I figure if I can't stop Riley from drawing on inappropriate surfaces, I can at least make it easier to clean.

I'm going to see if I can find him some Color Wonder stuff this week to use while we are traveling.  We have bunch of markers, but I haven't been able to find the special paper.
