Take Your Child to "Work" Day

This past Thursday I took Megan to work as part of Take Your Child to Work Day. She got to experience the full range of typical, daily activities of a Google software engineer. This includes several sessions in various bouncy houses, a fair amount of time making spin art, some sidewalk chalk drawing and a Google Earth safari.

Her lunch was also typical Google fare: a giant pizza-pretzel, cracker jack popcorn, salted peanuts, cotton candy, a brownie, an ice cream sundae with jellybeans on top, a chocolate chip cookie and some candy nabbed from my desk. She got a balloon, too, although it escaped through the car trunk some time later.

All in all, a fairly average day at Google.
