Birthday Invitations

We started handing out invitations to Megan's birthday today.  We are inviting 5 friends from school, a friend from the neighborhood, and friend from couple of towns over.

The school invites are handed out by the teachers.  Which is good for me because I don't know where these children live or in some cases, their last names.  I'm feeling both guilty and relieved that we are not inviting the whole class (as was the custom with Megan's NY preschool.)  The hard part is that some of the kids that I like from her preschool didn't make the cut.

We mailed the out of town invitation this morning and will walk the other over later today.  And then we have to wait for the RSVPs to come in.  Between the invitees and siblings, we will end up with 13 kids if everyone can come.
