Hi Ho, Hi Ho...

The trip to Disney went surprisingly smoothly. I can't begin to fathom the logistics or cost involved with flying, lodging and entertaining several thousand employees. The trip was lots of fun. I was in the park from about 9am to 12:30am, and in the end had ridden just about everything I'd care to ride. For the most part, lines were short - we were there on a Tuesday, in February, during the school year, and we had the park exclusively from 8pm on. It probably doesn't get much lighter than that. Here are some pictures:

I spent what seemed like half my time looking for toys to bring back for Megan and Riley. Not surprisingly, it's quite hard to find gifts at Disneyland that don't have any obvious connection to Disney. In the end, I settled on a bead bracelet and giant yellow slippers for Megan, and a Pooh-bear for Riley. Unfortunately, a call a short while later with Maura put the kibosh on poor Pooh, but by a stroke of luck I was able to swap him out for an ad-free frog that I found in Adventureland around midnight.
