A quartet of events

The past week or so was a mostly quiet, but we do have some multimedia to share. First, our carpet finally arrived. It may be hard to see, but it's kind of dark bluish, and does a good job making the room more comfortable. This was funded by a christmas present from grandma & grandpa.

Second, we have acquired a key lime tree. This was a delayed birthday present from Maura to me. Hopefully we have more luck with it than our previous horticultural misadventures. I'm looking forward to some key lime pie. Lime meringue pie would be good, too.

Next, Riley had his first haircut. Maura probably has some better pictures of this. It went pretty well, and Maura is hoping this will reduce the frequency that he gets confused for a girl. It is unlikely I will quit my day job to become a barber.

Finally, Riley also went on his first bike ride. Megan and I took him to the dinosaur park near her school. Fun was had by all, until Riley's teeth started chattering.
