Surgery? What surgery?

The day of Megan's surgery seemed to end as if it didn't happen. She was running around, drinking, eating regular food, and setting up blanket carpets like her usual self. I asked her repeatedly through the day if her throat hurt, and the most I got was that it felt a little itchy around bedtime. We'll see what tomorrow brings, but at least for now the effects of the adenoidectomy have been pretty mild. Hopefully her persistent cold/congestion/infection symptoms respond, I think she's been on every antibiotic on the market at this point.
