Dry All Day

Today Riley wore underwear to school and stayed dry all day. We are very proud of him.

For the past few months, he has been doing well using the bathroom at school, but would refuse to use the potty at home. We would ask him if he wanted to wear undies like a big boy, and he would say, "No."

Finally, Saturday night, Bryan told him that he was going to wear underwear the next day - it wasn't a choice, he needed to use the potty.  Riley said, "OK."

Riley did pretty well that day; a couple of accidents, but most of his pee went in the potty.  And today he wore undies to school (on backwards, because he wanted the picture to be in front) and had not one accident.  He even stayed dry through nap time.

We have been waiting for weeks for him to take the lead on this.  And apparently he has been waiting for us.  Something to remember for future parenting moments.
