I went to Target today to return the last box of diapers I purchased for Riley. We no longer need them as Riley is done with diapers. He will not wear them, day or night.
The night-time diaper refusal was a bit of a surprise. But it shouldn't have been. Riley shares my binary nature; you either wear diapers or you don't.
There were a few wet nights while Bryan and I figured out a system, but the past couple of days he has woken up dry. The secret proved to be a correctly timed trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night and the removal of his cup of water.
He is getting better and better at listening to his body. He seems to have peeing down pretty well. We are still working on consistently pooping in the potty. But Riley is getting better each day.
