Grammie Arrives

I was trying to be practical when I told my mother that I didn't need her to come out and help with the new baby. It is expensive to fly across the country, and we were will be coming out later in the summer.

And then last week I fell into a panic. Gavin was just so precious and little and it was crushing me that my mother would not get to see this part. So I called home and bullied her into coming out as soon as humanly possible. If I could have, I would have put her on a flight that night.

Gavin and I picked her up from the airport this afternoon. And he has already made himself at home. Grump arrives later tonight.
