Father's Day, Take 2

This past weekend was my do-over Father's Day, to make up for the barfy (but still fun) weekend before. Sunday morning was spent organizing the garage, which entailed putting together a shelf for our numerous bins of kids clothes, sweeping off the floor and organizing my shop (isn't this how you would spend your free time?).

In the afternoon Megan and I went mini-golfing. It was a nice looking 18-hole course, although I unfortunately didn't bring a camera, so you'll just have to trust me. The only down side were the kids behind us, who apparently didn't understand that you are supposed to wait until the people in front of you are done before you start the hole. One of them even hit my leg with their golf ball! Megan and I both had fun, and I think she did quite well for her first time out. Her favorite hole was the castle, which had an open-and-closing gate you had to hit the ball through.

After golfing we went to the local hardware store to pick pick up a 1/2" dowel and some trim. I'll use that to build a little CD peg-rack for her wall so there is an alternative to strewing them all over the floor. I got about halfway done on Sunday, hopefully I'll have time to finish it up next weekend.
