Yesterday we never left the house. Riley's PJs were removed after dinner so he could take a bath and and change into clean pyjamas. We were that lazy.
But we more than made up for it today. In the morning we met up with friends at Shoreline Park and had a wonderful time walking while the kids biked, playing at the park, and boating on the lake.
The Paddle boats were fun to have done. but not much fun to be the one fruitlessly peddling in the middle of the lake while a two-year-old steers you in circles. I think we will try one of the sail boats or canoes next time.
And then in the evening we were to a neighborhood cookout and met more neighbors. I still can't get over how nice and friendly people are out here.
We finished the day tired and slightly sunburned. It was a good day
