Photobug

Megan has developed a sudden a strong interest in taking pictures, as opposed to being the subject of pictured. She now requests to be able to use my camera. Which I allow as long as my comfort level with a 5 year old handling a expensive piece of electronics lasts. So far 4 minutes is my maximum. Here is a collection of pictures she took on Saturday:

She really likes to examine the picture after she has taken it and the 3 seconds that it appears on the screen after the shot is not long enough for her. So I taught her how the work the slider on my camera that switches between taking pictures and the viewer mode. However between pictures and view is the movie setting. And she frequntly gets stuck there if she doesn't push the slider all the way to the right. So when I take the pictures off the camera there are all these 2 and 3 second video clips. I stitched a bunch of them together to make this movie:

It is weirdly compelling.
