Today was another busy day.
I went to the doctor and Riley got dropped off at play school (our name for the drop-in daycare offered by Bryan's work, best perk ever). Megan had a friend come over after school while his dad ran an errand and later Megan and I stopped by my new job to pick up a stack of employment paperwork (which I have added to the pile of daycare paperwork I also need to fill out).
Normally, my weeks are not so busy. It is particularly poor luck that the past few days came all together and while Bryan is away.
We had breakfast for dinner again. My mom sent me her pancake recipe, so I can finally make pancakes that I like to eat. I think I'll just keep alternating between pancakes and eggs for the rest of the week. It is easy and the kids like it, Riley especially. I think he ate four pancakes all by himself tonight.
