Today Megan was as close to late to school as I ever want her to be. I lost track of track of time, because the three of us were having fun playing pillow fort on my bed. And then suddenly I realized that it was already 7:45 and no one was dressed. Normally we leave the house at 7:45.
So we scrambled, and she got to school as the bell was ringing. But I didn't have time to bask in my victory against time, because I had to get Riley to the dentist.
Riley's teeth are fine. No signs of decay and sadly, no signs that his 2nd set of molars are going to appear anytime soon. Riley is such an excruciatingly slow teether compared to Megan.
And again, he garnered a slew of compliments at his cooperative behavior. He lay on the examine bed and allowed the dentist to poke around, scrape off a little bit of plaque from his top teeth, even do a little fluoride treatment. Since he did so well, next time they are going to do a full cleaning.
The rest of the day was uneventful. Although we continued our breakfast for dinner theme again by having scrambled eggs for dinner. Or at least the kids did, I had left over pizza. Without Bryan home, I have zero motivation to cook real dinners.
But we are over the hump now. There are more days behind us that before us.
