Friends of ours were going to the Oakland Zoo today and invited us to join them. And since I could see in their eyes that they thought my preference for staying home and doing noting was pretty lame, I over came my inertia and agreed that we would go.
We had a really good time. Riley kept asking to see dinosaurs. And when we told him that there were no dinosaurs at the zoo, he asked to see monkeys. The animal Megan most wanted to see were the bunnies, which we didn't get to this time. But we bought a membership, so we plan to go back again soon.
