Quick on the heels of Megan's recent bed change, Riley has upgraded as well. One night about a week ago or so, Riley was complaining that his crib was itchy. It turned out to be full of sand (I have no idea how it got there). While I was changing his sheets, I threw some of his bed stuff on Megan's toddler bed, which we had put in his room. Most of it I put back in the crib, except his sleeping bag, which seemed excessive given the three other blankets he had.
The next day, Megan found the sleeping bag on the bed, and apparently decided that's where Riley should be sleeping. She climbed into his crib, took all his stuffed animals, blankets and pillow, and arranged them on the bed for him. That night Riley was determined to sleep in the toddler bed, and he's been sleeping there since.
