There is actually a really cool website that that you can use to plot risk and management for jaundice. Right now Gavin is still intermediate-low risk. We are doing another check on Friday. It the count goes up, we will probably have to do some phototherapy at home. Otherwise it should resolve on its own.
Gavin's weight is doing well too. Today he was 6 lbs 11.5 oz, so he is gaining well. The check on Tuesday seems to have been the nadir, so we don't need worry about that anymore.
In the meantime, we have been trying to get him some sun everyday and feed him as much as possible so he can get the biliruben out of his system.
