From what I understand now, once blood pressure becomes a factor in pregnancy most OBs want to get the baby delivered as soon as possible. I talked to Peter about it today, because I just wasn't able to penetrate the carefully couched language that my doctors were using. Basically, once your blood pressure gets unstable, things can get very bad, very quickly. And if you can deliver the baby, you avoid the potential complications.
We go back again tomorrow for another check. And it may turn out that the baby is born tomorrow. Hopefully we can think of a name by then.
