Gavin @ Two Weeks

Gavin also had a check up today.  He is 7lbs 7 oz, over his birth weight (and up a pound from last week).  The nurse measured him at 19.75 inches.  But since that would mean that he shrunk since he was born, Dr. K. thinks that the nurse made a mistake. 

Otherwise he is healthy and developing fine.  His jaundice is resolving itself.  His eyes are still a little yellow, but that should clear up in the next week.  We also asked about his oozing bellybutton (not a big deal, it will heal soon) and an eye turn in his right eye (fairly normal in a newborn).

So he is good to go until 6 weeks.
