My Mother's Day

My mother's day was absolutely wonderful.  It started on Saturday, when Riley brought home beautiful roses. He also gave me a card he made in school.
Megan made me wait for her present.  It was a "cookbook" her teacher put together.  Miss W. asked all the children to describe their favorite food that their mother made and she typed up the "recipe" and the kids drew a picture.  Bryan and I had the biggest laugh when we saw her page.
I'm slightly chagrined to know that I have been immortalized for my excellent chicken nugget reheating skills.  But is is so funny, that I don't really mind.  And it is nice to know that she appreciates the time I take to honor her desire matching set of chicken nuggets.
